The Slo-Mo House is located in Rietondale in Pretoria on an extremely steep site. The client wanted a house that was warm and light whilst making the most of the view to the south. The contemporary design is given warmth with the textured brise soleil which keeps the house cool during the summer and light throughout the year. Natural finishes such as brick, wood and off-shutter concrete are used to offset the modern steel and glass elements.
