A civic design language was implemented with the design of the school gatehouse that incorporated landscaping. Children are provided with shaded areas to wait for their pick-up after school. There is a secure roofed area behind a fence that also has access to a clothing shop and small café which also serves the street. Outside, the landscape provides ample seating which is shaded by the tree canopy for the waiting children.
